The Environmental Operators Certification Program (EOCP) administers certification of water and wastewater operators in the Yukon. Limited practice registers
Technical Development courses will provide you with Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as well as develop your technical skills and knowledge. For those experienced in the water and wastewater industry, YWWOP will help expand skills, maintain certification and keep up with changing technology. Medical (family) / Medical Specialist Licence
To be considered for acceptance applicants must submit ALL documents prior to this date. Seats will first be offered to qualified applicants of Indigenous heritage, with priority given to Yukon First Nation applicants. YNTEP is a full-time program comprised of fall and winter coursework, a 4-week spring practicum in a rural community, a 1-week summer cultural camp, and a 16-week Internship. In 1990, electricity generated in Yukon emitted 190 g of CO2e per kWh. Refined petroleum products accounted for 6.4 PJ (78%) of demand, electricity at 1.6 PJ (20%), and natural gas at 0.2 PJ (2%). This figure shows end-use demand by fuel type in Yukon in 2020.
The largest sector was transportation at 52% of total demand, followed by industrial (at 25%), commecial (at 12%), and lastly, residential (at 11%). Students must maintain an overall 65% average in order to complete program requirements for graduation and, in some cases, to continue in the program. If you are planning to do various locums throughout the year, you must apply to be on the Medical or Medical Specialist Registers. You can apply to be included in the following registers. All physicians must be registered through the Yukon Medical Council to practice medicine in the Yukon. Don’t include personal information (telephone, email, SIN, financial, medical, or work details). Operators of Large Public Drinking Water systems (≥15 service connections) and Bulk Water Delivery systems (≥5 delivery sites) are required to be certified and certification is highly encouraged for all other water and wastewater operators. Water and wastewater operators typically work within governments (municipal, territorial, federal and First Nation) and are increasingly recruited by the mining industry, water delivery and wastewater collection companies and circuit riders.
